I apply spatial optimization techniques at the intersection of data-science, computer science, and geography.

Brief Bio:

I am currently a spatial data scientist specializing in operations research, GIS, and spatial statistics research and applications. I've worked on forestry problems, competitive retail and logistics problems, GIS and data analysis, and customer segmentation problems. I've obtained Small Business Innovative Research Grants from the National Science Foundation, have developed a growth and forecast model for a growing retailer, and work in applied GIS in local government. I obtained my BS in Physical Geography in 2006, my MA in 2008, and PhD in 2014 - all from UC Santa Barbara.
